According to the announcement, “Franklin Sports pickleball equipment [was delivered] to our Regions for our K-7 Elementary school participants across BC.”

The initiative receives support from multiple stakeholders including viaSport BC through a provincial sport development grant, Franklin Sports, Pickleball Canada, and numerous regional school personnel.

PBCA President David Snell stated that the expansion “provides a strong base of support for grassroots growth in pickleball, embedding the sport early in elementary education.”
