2026 Pickleball Canada National Championships
The 2026 Pickleball Canada National Championships will take place August 24–30 in the Greater Toronto Area, featuring top Canadian players competing across multiple age and skill divisions, with free entry for spectators.
Registration opens April 23, 2026, costs $165 plus $45 per event, and is limited to eligible Canadian participants who are members of Pickleball Canada and have a DUPR rating.
The tournament will include singles, doubles, mixed, open, and age-based divisions, with a maximum of five events per player and one event per day. Matches will follow official rules and formats such as round robin and elimination rounds, with referees for key matches and a strict code of conduct in place.
The Championship will bring together participants from across Canada, strengthening the national pickleball community, and will also feature the Provincial Team Competition (PTC). In 2026, the PTC will play a larger role in athlete development by helping identify players for the National Development Program and supporting Canada’s growth on the international stage.
The inaugural 2025 PTC was with 6 Provincial Teams participating — BC, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario, and Quebec Provincial Teams went head-to-head. The BC Team won the point-based round robin leading to the medal matches with Ontario close behind. The medal matches concluded with BC winning Gold, Ontario Silver and Manitoba, the host province, winning Bronze.
