Introduction & FAQ

The Pickleball BC (“PBC”) Grant Programs, including our Community and Youth Grants, help clubs, schools, and community organizations grow the sport of pickleball across British Columbia. Through the Grant Program, eligible groups can apply for funding of up to $1,000 per annum.

Community Grants

The PBC Community Grant Program supports local pickleball clubs and organizations across British Columbia in developing and expanding pickleball opportunities within their communities. Through grants of up to $1,000, the program helps fund equipment, instructional initiatives, and other resources that introduce new players to the sport and strengthen local programs.

By supporting grassroots initiatives, PBC aims to grow participation and ensure communities throughout the province have the tools needed to build sustainable pickleball programs.

Community Grants are available only with support from a local PBC Affiliated Club, which must sponsor grant applications.

Youth Grants

The PBC Youth Grant Program supports schools, clubs, and youth organizations across British Columbia that are introducing pickleball to young players. Grants of up to $1,000 help fund equipment, instruction, and other resources needed to start or expand programs for participants aged 18 and under.

By supporting youth initiatives, PBC aims to encourage physical activity, build lifelong sport participation, and help grow the sport across the province.
